Most were urban and nonprofit, and many had plans for different disasters. However, not all participated in hospital training exercises: 10% never did drills, 44% did once a year, 36% twice a year, and only 10% more than twice yearly. Many NICUs have plans in place, but consistent participation in drills is lacking.
