About
This observational study looks at the efficacy of a screen-based simulation called "60 Seconds to Survival" (60S) in learning pediatric disaster triage (PDT). It was tested with 138 nurses over 13 weeks. Results showed that the nurses' ability to correctly triage patients improved significantly, while mistakes decreased. The study suggests that screen-based simulations are effective and less costly than live simulations for training in pediatric disaster situations. It highlights the importance of accurate triage in emergencies and shows how technology can help improve skills in healthcare settings without high costs or resource use.
