Access Resources
About
This webinar discusses a landslide guide for Puerto Rico residents. After Hurricane Maria caused 70,000 landslides in 2017, there was a need for information and help. A team from the U.S. Geological Survey, University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez, and Natural Hazards Center created the guide to help people understand and reduce landslide risks. The webinar shares how they worked together with many partners to make this helpful tool. It also provides details on speakers involved in the project and resources available for further learning about landslide risk reduction efforts in Puerto Rico.
