About
This study shows how transmission dynamic models and forecasting techniques provided insights into the epidemiological processes underlying the diphtheria outbreak in a large Rohingya refugee camp Bangladesh in 2017. The modeling helped guide decisions on hospital beds, staffing, and vaccination efforts for children aged 5-14 years who were most affected by the disease due to low vaccination rates. This resource is related to a PPN podcast titled "A Global Connection."
