    In this module, we will cover the topic of acute pediatric poisonings. We will review how to approach the medical workup and treatment of the poisoned patient and discuss several common toxidromes. Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Describe the epidemiology of pediatric poisonings. Develop a framework with which to approach the poisoned pediatric patient. Recognize common toxicologic syndromes (toxidromes) associated with specific poison classes.
