    This module covers the basics of pediatric asthma management in the ED setting including the pathophysiology, physical exam findings, management strategies and determining the appropriate disposition of an asthmatic patient. Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to: * Understand the epidemiology and pathophysiology of pediatric asthma * Recognize the key history and physical exam findings in patients who present to the ED with asthma * Describe the key medications and therapies utilized in pediatric asthma management * Identify the criteria to determine which patients who present to the ED with asthma require admission versus discharge home Released: 05/24/2024
