This simulation includes recognizing signs of non-accidental trauma in infants, evaluating critically ill infants, managing airways, creating differential diagnoses, forming diagnostic and management plans, and handling pediatric trauma and status epilepticus. Participants will also learn about teamwork, communication with caregivers, and closed-loop communication. Critical actions involve assembling a team, obtaining intraosseous access, managing status epilepticus, airway management, recognizing trauma signs, effective team and parent communication. The simulation aims to enhance skills in pediatric emergency scenarios through practical application, synthesis of knowledge, and effective communication strategies.
