This simulation aims to equip participants with the skills to evaluate pediatric patients with blunt trauma systematically. It covers recognizing signs of multisystem trauma, implementing medical management plans for trauma cases and traumatic brain injuries, managing airways using various techniques, administering fluids/blood for resuscitation, and communicating diagnosis and management to caregivers. Additionally, it includes critical actions such as assigning team roles, obtaining patient history, conducting surveys, monitoring cardiac activity, securing vascular access, oxygenating and ventilating patients, administering IV fluids, immobilizing the cervical spine, intubating before transfer, and splinting fractures. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and effective communication throughout the process.
