Participants in this simulation will learn to recognize and manage various critical conditions in neonates, including shock, hypoglycemia, adrenal hyperplasia, and adrenal crisis. They will practice constructing differentials, implementing management plans, and demonstrating skills like intraosseous placement and focused history taking. The simulation emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and critical actions such as obtaining patient history, establishing airway maneuvers, administering glucose, and recognizing adrenal crisis. Optional advanced stages cover topics like hyperkalemia and ventricular tachycardia. Overall, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of neonatal emergencies and develop essential skills for diagnosis, management, and communication with caregivers.
