Suicide and Refugee Children and Adolescents

This three-page fact sheet offers information about risk and protective factors related to suicide and refugee children and adolescents. It describes how refugee children and adolescents who experience suicidal ideation may not receive the help they need as many refugee families do not seek traditional mental health services and lack access to other sources of support, and provides strategies for talking with refugee children and adolescents about suicide.
