Pediatric Care Coordination Center: A Demonstration and Table Top Exercise
Access Resources
About
This resource is a demonstration of the Pediatric Medical Operations Coordination Cell (PMOCC) by the Michigan Bureau of EMS, Trauma and Preparedness with Region V for Kids. PMOCC is a new model to manage pediatric emergencies and disasters. The event aimed to show how PMOCC works to emergency planners, pediatric officials, EMSC coordinators, hospital leaders, and other stakeholders. It helps them understand how coordinated response management can reduce the impact on local resources during pediatric disasters or surge incidents. The exercise was based on ASPR TRACIE's toolkit for medical operations coordination cells.
