About
This article describes a new four-tiered training program for prehospital trauma management in fast-developing countries. It aims to reduce high mortality rates from trauma by improving emergency medical systems. The program includes Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), Acute Trauma Training (ATT), Broad Trauma Training (BTT), and Cardiac and Trauma Training (CTT). These courses are designed for diverse educational backgrounds, using native languages, simulations, and video debriefings. The approach is scalable globally through a "train-the-trainer" model to quickly increase the number of trained first responders needed in these regions.
