About

This online course explains how to include people with disabilities in emergency planning, especially during events like COVID-19. The course has eight lessons that cover topics such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, community planning, and communication needs. Each lesson includes a learning agenda and reflection questions to help participants think about what they know and need to learn. The goal is for people with disabilities to have a voice in local emergency plans and ensure everyone is prepared for emergencies together.
