This checklist helps emergency departments prepare to care for children. The tool is based on the 2018 guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Emergency Physicians, and Emergency Nurses Association. The checklist is useful for preparing for the NPRP Assessment and identifying areas needing improvement. It also suggests using the NPRP Toolkit to address any gaps found by the checklist.
