About
This module aims to enhance clinicians' skills in distinguishing between accidental and intentional injuries in children to improve accuracy in reporting child abuse suspicions. Real cases from Denver Health Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Colorado are used for practice. By employing deliberate practice theory, learners receive immediate feedback, gaining years' worth of experience in a short time. The goal is to help learners differentiate between accidental and intentional injuries based on clinical and historical details. The objective is for learners to gain confidence in identifying abuse and fulfilling mandatory reporting responsibilities, which vary across states.
